Comment #13 is where I realised Raffaele's problem was related to Nvidia bug 2060268 and bug 2066126. And we're confident the fix for those was released this week.
Mario's problem sounds different; related to a failure to achieve full bandwidth when the display wakes up. This seems to be a common problem in recent kernels where it's less likely to allow max resolution/refresh rate if the cabling isn't providing a good quality signal. So for Mario I would recommend trying a new HDMI cable (at least HDMI 2.1 if you want to be sure 2.0 will always work), and/or logging a new bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2075525 Title: After screen blank, the displays configuration gets lost To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-drivers-common/+bug/2075525/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
