Tested linux-firmware 20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu2.4 on Ubuntu 24.04.1 Noble.
After a reboot to load the new firmware, wifi can be enabled again and one can connect to networks providing internet access to T14 Gen5 AMD laptops using a QCOM WCN7850 card. Wifi also works after suspend/resume with a rough 10 second wait in between. All symptoms of the mentioned bug from 20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu2.3 are gone. Verification done on Noble. ** Tags added: verification-done-noble -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2080428 Title: Updating firmware disabled QCOM WiFi WCN7850 on T14 Gen5 AMD To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-firmware/+bug/2080428/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
