I have the same issue. Mostly, the touchpad works great, no issues, but then at times, it becomes laggy, having a delay, so it is not responsive, and I can feel it being sluggish moving the cursor around and definitely losing the precision.
I believe the OS does not need to sleep and wake up for this issue to occur, I think I also encountered the issue when I freshly booted the OS, then used it for a couple of hours, maybe locking the screen, unlocking (but not putting the laptop to sleep). Currently running 24.04.1 LTS on Thinkpad T14s Gen 4, and it still happens. Also can confirm that with an external mouse it does not happen. (I also have an Apple Magic trackpad, not sure if it affects it too, so if I find out I will report on it) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2067657 Title: Cursor response to touchpad sporadically becomes laggy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2067657/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
