I cannot reproduce it on 2 other devices that I have - rpi 3b - Xilinx Kria KV-240
After debugging it seems that we return in this line: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/blob/gnome-42/src/backends/native/meta- monitor-manager-native.c#L890 if (manager_native->needs_outputs && !can_have_outputs) {RETURN FALSE} while rpi and kria do not. can_have_outputs seems to be false. drm_info reports the HDMI monitor as enabled and active. Further investigation is needed to find out why mutter sees the HDMI monitor as inactive. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2044664 Title: HDMI plugin after boot, but display can't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-app/+bug/2044664/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
