Yes I got two plain users in lpadmin jol and joakim: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ grep "lpadmin" /etc/group lpadmin:x:106:joakim,jol,root
jol is my NIS user name at work not defined in /ets/passwd and joakim is the local user I use at home. jol and joakim happens to have the same uid too so I can share files between the two environments easily. I was not attached to the work LAN when installing the printer though. I attach the output I got to the terminal window ** Attachment added: "Log of gnome-cups-add command output without sudo" http://librarian.launchpad.net/4532734/gnome-cups-add.txt -- Sudo password dialog doesn't appear trying to install printer https://launchpad.net/bugs/62513 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
