Ubuntu better. The relevant dpkg terminal log says:
Unsupported platform.
run-parts: /etc/initramfs/post-update.d//flash-kernel exited with return code 1
So this is a problem with flash-kernel. What hardware is it?
ProcCpuinfoMinimal.txt says "Marvell Armada 370/XP".
