@Fadh, could you tell if the command apt --simulate purge libpython3.10-stdlib
returns a few lines (in which case many thanks to show them), or a very high number of lines, please? This command allows to know what would happen if you would try to remove package libpython3.10-stdlib . Removing this package has fixed the same issue we have for several persons, as told in thread shown on this page: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release- upgrader/+question/702823 . As for me, I could not try this fix, as removing this package would also have removed 333 other packages (of the 4108) installed on my system. So I didn't try to do so. But if on your system it doesn't have the same behaviour, you may try that? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2080204 Title: unable to upgrade to ubuntu 24.04 from ubuntu 22.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/2080204/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
