Public bug reported:

When I start it via the start menu it just refuses to launch and after
five tries it might just launch. Running `snap run firefox` usually
works instantly. I am not sure if this is related to snap updates
interfering and not properly refreshing the start menu shortcuts.
Searching the internet, everyone suggested replacing the snap with a
Debian package from the Mozilla PPA which will, of course, solve this,
but it is not the root of the problem. Note that this is very unpolished
on the default browser and might turn off newbies entirely.

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
