yeah, maybe i found the problem... i installed amsn0.97b SVN from http://download.tuxfamily.org/amsnskins/packages/ubuntu/ because while i was reading this post http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4485&highlight=tcl the official forum of amsn...as you can see in the first link i posted, there is more than one "8.5-0ubuntu1" package... now i removed it and installed the 8.5.0-2 from Synaptic and all goes fine....anyway there is th output you asked me: -------- [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# apt-cache policy tcl8.5-dev tcl8.5-dev: Installato: 8.5.0-2 Candidato: 8.5.0-2 Tabella versione: *** 8.5.0-2 0 500 http://it.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ------- thank you for interesting, see you soon...bye!
