Public bug reported:
When running a program under rlwrap 0.43 on ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS, if the
program issues a prompt and you respond to it, the prompt disappears
from the screen and only the response remains. This doesn't happen with
rlwrap 0.45 compiled from source on the same ubuntu system. The prompt
and response both remain on the screen.
Try rlwrap ed -p "hello: "
You get a prompt of "hello: ". If you then type "a", the "hello: " goes away
and you only see "a".
