I don't understand why when they boot a live environment and
installation isn't required for testing. Better to test on the actual
hardware rather than in a virtual environment to make sure it actually
runs on your PC.

Regarding the virtual machine, I've never had an issue in virtualbox, so
I suspect it's the virtual machine itself. This makes me triage this as
a support issue which means this doesn't belong in a bug tracker. You'd
be better served on askubuntu.com, but let's go ahead and convert this
into a question and continue the conversation.
