> zfs is not usually loaded in the kernel if no zfs file systems are
used but it may perhaps be loaded for other reasons, and/or you have
zfs-utils installed in which case I think it may be warranted.
I checked and confirmed that I did not have any ZFS filesystems on my
computer and another running 24.04. Even zfs-utils wasn't installed on
these computers. But still the zfs kernel module was loaded
automatically. :(
However, after a recent update to the release upgrader, the 'do-release-
upgrade -d' command does allow the upgrade and this is not an issue any
more.
