Hi Rick > I expected sharing filesystem between guest and host would work.
Yeah, it does in my experience since 20.10 got easier in 21.04 and should therefore be fine in 22.04 and later. But I've explicitly only used it on the former two versions and then again on 24.04, so it could be in Jammy if no one spotted and reported it yet - let me therefore cross-check. The bugs you found are interesting, but AFAICS not immediately helpful. - The Debian case is only referring to use the newer version 8.x switching to a different implementation - The osv-dev case points to a commit as breaking which is in v5.2 of qemu and thereby quite old and would have been caught and fixed in qemu by the time of v6.2 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2083988 Title: Cannot use virtiofs on Ubuntu 22.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/2083988/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
