Public bug reported:
I am not sure how to log this issue, but let's go.
This is a VM with Ubuntu 24.04 running over KVM (Ubuntu 24.04).
At the end of the attached journal, you can find the significant errors coming
from QXL.
This happens after hours or even days after booting, even if I am not using the
machine.
Initially I was using the default QXL parameters. After a few hangs, I tried
this configuration suggested in some forums:
<video>
<model type="qxl" ram="262144" vram="262144" vgamem="65536" heads="1"
primary="yes"/>
<alias name="video0"/>
<address type="pci" domain="0x0000" bus="0x00" slot="0x01" function="0x0"/>
</video>
Basically the machine hangs and I can only log through ssh and forcing a
reboot. The problem is that any open file gets lost.
Any solution/workaround is more than welcome.
