Hi Daniel van Vugt, Thanks for your response. This bug is reproducible on my machine. This is my dconf configuration file. To apply it on your system, run:
$ dconf load /org/gnome/desktop/ < dconf_2024-10-12_GNOME47_wayland_Fail.txt Then try to login GNOME 47 on wayland session. I don't know which settings that cause the segfault. I will upload the journal.txt and prevjournal.txt on next post. To reset it, run (Warning! this will reset some of your Desktop personality like wallpaper/theme): $ dconf reset -f /org/gnome/desktop/ ** Attachment added: "dconf_2024-10-12_GNOME47_wayland_Fail.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2084299/+attachment/5828024/+files/dconf_2024-10-12_GNOME47_wayland_Fail.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2084299 Title: Old User Cannot login to Wayland Session After Upgrading to Ubuntu 24.10 GNOME 47.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2084299/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
