Thank you for working on this! > Furthermore, people that already started using 0.107 functionality (veth,dummy,wpa3,...) would be left stranded with broken network configuration after reverting to 0.106.
I think that's the deliberate intention of a revert, and therefore is acceptable in the general case when a revert is needed. We might avoid a revert if it's been a long time, but I don't think that applies in this specific case. > So I don't think a revert is the correct approach here. People using 0.107 from -updates currently should stay on that version. 0.106.1-7ubuntu0.22.04.4 from -security should be restored in jammy- updates and the current version in -updates should be moved back to jammy-proposed. Given the circumstances I agree that this might be a reasonable outcome. It would need an AA to make the change I think, or at least I'd like an AA's opinion, so let's get further opinion (quickly) before committing to this course of action. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2084444 Title: juju can not parse new 50-cloud-init.yaml properly after netplan 0.107 under 22.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/juju/+bug/2084444/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
