So far, I've tracked that down to the 6.9 branch. I haven't got any
freeze on 6.8.0, 6.8.12, nor Noble's kernel (6.8.0-31), but got them on
6.9.0 and 6.10.1 downloaded from your link. Are there pre-built packages
somewhere to help bisect the commit, or is it a completely manual
process? I'm not very familiar with bisecting the kernel.
