Hello, I experience the same issue. The kernels 6.8.x until 6.8.12 dont boot on my machine. It starts to work after 6.9.x. I tried to get some logs to see what's wrong but I only get
efi stub measured initrd data into pcr 9 My machine is a desktop with Intel Core I7 14700K and AMD RX7600. This bug prevents me to run the Ubuntu 24.04 installer. Luckily the 6.5 kernel was booting after an upgrade from 23.10 to 24.04 Fedora 40 live image with 6.8.5 kernel is running properly. Now I will run 6.5 for stability Please let me know if you need more information. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2076216 Title: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS kernel 6.8.0-35 fails to boot up and get stuck at efi stub measured initrd data into pcr 9 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2076216/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
