**Title:** Boot Hanging on Ubuntu Logo and Hibernation Not Functioning

**Summary:**
Users are experiencing two critical issues with the recent release of Ubuntu
24.10:
1. The system occasionally hangs on the Ubuntu logo during boot, requiring
multiple attempts to reach the login screen.
2. Hibernation functionality, which worked in Ubuntu 24.04, is now broken. The
system fails to resume properly after hibernation.
**Steps to Reproduce:**
1. **Boot Hanging Issue:**
- Power on the system.
- Observe the Ubuntu logo during the boot process.
- Notice that the system hangs on this screen intermittently.
- Reboot the system multiple times until it successfully reaches the login
screen.
2. **Hibernation Issue:**
- Initiate hibernation from the system menu.
- Observe the screen turning black.
- Notice high CPU activity, significantly longer than in Ubuntu 24.04.
- System eventually powers off.
- Power on the system.
- Splash screen appears with notification of attempting to restore from SWAP
UUID.
- System freezes at the splash screen.

- The hibernation process should function as in Ubuntu 24.04, powering off

- Hibernation leads to an unusable system state, with restoration from SWAP
