Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-3-generic
The firmware folder for 2.6.24-3 is not created in /lib/firmware, so
modules such as iwl3945 dont work.
Workaround:
sudo ln -s /lib/firmware/2.6.24-2-generic/ /lib/firmware/2.6.24-3-generic
