Kernel 6.6.51 freezes after some minimal activity too. But 6.1.110 works fine.
Model: Thinkpad T510 Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 CPU M 560 Without additional gpu If somebody wants quick temporary fix: 1. Get the 6.1.110 kernel by downloading the 4 .deb files from https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.1.110/amd64/ (I suggest 6.1 as it's a LTS, and you can look if a higher patch number than 110 is available) 2. sudo dpkg -i linux-*.deb 3. Select this kernel version from "Advanced options" on Grub (the bootscreen) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2071523 Title: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS freezes on Thinkpad T510 with kernel 6.8.0-36-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2071523/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
