The /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libodbccr.so is actually part of the
unixodbc-dev package, so you don't need to create it by hand.
It's not clear from the description whether the code you're referring to
comes from a package or if it's part of a third-party project. If it's
the latter, then it's the user's responsibility to install the necessary
dependencies for the project to run. If it's the former, then this is
probably a bug in the package as it should correctly depend on unixodbc-
dev out of the box.
Could you clarify this, please? Meanwhile, I will mark this bug as
Incomplete. Please feel free to revert its status back to New once you
have provided the requested information.
