Public bug reported:

Please sync libervia-backend 0.9.0~hg4319-1 (universe) from Debian
unstable (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * debian/control: add gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad and gstreamer1.0-nice as
    runtime dependencies. libervia-backend uses elements provided by
    gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad. Some of these elements need gstreamer1.0-nice
    to work (LP: #2077974).

The extra dependencies are now added in the Debian package too.
