#18 worked for me and I am using the gnome extension that added the hibernate choice to the shutdown menu. Using 2 different Mac Airs. One is an 11" 6,1 and the other is a 13" 7,2 and blacklisting the intel_hid did the trick and I did not have to run update-initramfs. I just did a modprobe -r intel_hid, blacklisted it for the next boot.
There seems to be no negative effect of not having intel_hid loaded on either machine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2057687 Title: systemctl hibernate error: "Call to Hibernate failed: Invalid argument" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/2057687/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
