Thank you Sitsofe. That patch worked for me. For any who want to try it, I followed this guide to rebuild a Debian package: https://www.linuxjournal.com/content/rebuilding-and-modifying-debian- packages, then before the debuild step, applied the patch with patch -p1 < bluez-fix-address.patch.
