Performing verification for noble.

I started a new noble VM, and attached a 10G disk. I compiled the reader.c
program from the testcase, and ran it with the bash script provided.

On the 6.8.0-48-generic kernel, it didn't last even thirty seconds before
locking
up. I ran it multiple times, and it always locked up within thirty seconds.

I then enabled -proposed2, and installed 6.8.0-49-generic.

I left it running for a good twenty minutes, and its still going. This has fixed
this particular issue, for sure.

The kernel in -proposed fixes the issue. Happy to mark verified for
Noble.
