You should be using the 64bit version of the pkg, which IS available: firefox_1.99+2.0b2+dfsg-1ubuntu2_amd64.deb
The 32bit package is built for 32bit edgy, and expects libraries found on that particular arch. While work-arounds may work, I don't see this as a problem with the firefox deb pkg. Is there a reason why you need 32bit firefox instead of the 64bit firefox? Maybe you could target the bug in a manner more specific to your problem. ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info -- 32bit firefox cannot find library in 64bit edgy https://launchpad.net/bugs/62698 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
