Public bug reported:

Hello,
I am not sure how to report this bug and against which package, so I tried to
be as close as possible.

Currently, I am using ubuntu 24.10 with wayland on my laptop and at work
I use to plug-in via HDMI an external monitor. But whenever I open some
windows (for example libre office writer or Rstudio) it opens on the
external monitor but with a height that is too big. That is I can't
resize the window manually and I have to plug out the monitor so that it
opens correctly on the laptop screen.

I have tried to use the ubuntu-bug command using the PID of an
application suffering of this problem but it didn't open a new tab on my
chromium browser, so I don't know how to retrieve all this information.

Any help is much appreciated,
Thanks a lot!
