There's some discussion upstream about switching `clamav` to only
writing to the journal, and not a custom logfile. Logwatch 7.5.0+ can
use journalctl.

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=904013#20

it may be a solution to change the logwatch config to following the
journal instead of the logfile, at least for a workaround. I'm not
succeeding in setting up the logwatch configuration correctly to call
journalctl while ignoring /var/log/clamav/freshclam.log. in
/etc/logwatch/conf/services/clam-update.conf I've set

Logfile =
Logfile = none
*JournalCtl = "--no-pager --unit=clamav-freshclam.service"

but I'm not sure it's grabbing the journal correctly
