I came across similar issue on kernel 6.8.0-49-generic. The internal speakers are actually listed and everything looks good in Sound settings. But I dont hear anything. I tried connecting bluetooth devices (airpods and jbl loudspeaker) and they worked fine. Is this problem still ongoing with original post owner?
