Verification done with CM5 on oracular base image; flash-kernel performed as expected. Verification could not be done directly on the noble base image due to LP: #2089555, but was performed (successfully) with an oracular kernel running the noble-proposed version of flash- kernel.
Test plan was repeated on two other models of Pi 5 (2GB and 8GB to cover different SoC steppings), a Pi 4 (8GB), and a Pi 3B+.
