Indeed, with noble and a 6.8 kernel supplied from the ubuntu repository,
there is no issue at all.

I've tried multiple kernels from 6.9-6.11 on noble (from the ubuntu
mainline kernel website), and all seem to exhibit this problem.

How can I gather the logs you refer to?
