Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin

I have Pidgin started at login, but it seems to be running a bit to fast
for my network connection. Often when I login Pidgin complains that it
can't connect to one or another of the protocols I use. When I re-enable
the account it connects flawlessly. This is why I assume that it's just
being impatient.

Also I think it is silly and a waste of system resources that Pidgin
starts in full mode when there is no functioning network available.

Pidgin should wait for a 'network ready' event before trying to connect.

** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
