Interesting, on newer releases it's located in /bin and /usr/bin which explains why I missed it.
@ahasenack I can modify unattended upgrades to utilize systemd-ac-power, but this will also require me to backport any missing systemd-ac-power patches to it to make sure the script covers as many scenarios as possible. However other applications that also depend on on_ac_power will still suffer from the same issue, (and this also does not resolve the actual package being broken).
