OP here.

First, since linux 6.8.0-48 I consider the bug to be fixed at least on
the hardware it was reported on.

Second, I see bots adding requests for testing obscure kernel versions
with a treat of closing the bug and reverting the fix. I am not sure how
to react to this. Can some one with authority chime in on the matter?

Third, linux-hwe 6.11.0-12 is working perfectly as well. Not sure if the
fix was ported or it was fixed upstream.
