I have been using Kazam for a long time on Ubuntu 22.04, but now after
installing the same Ubuntu 22.04 on a new laptop I see the same problem.

Interesting that in command line it says that it can detect OS version

$ kazam -v
WARNING Kazam - Failed to correctly detect operating system.
kazam 1.4.5 'NCC-80102'
