I have been using Kazam for a long time on Ubuntu 22.04, but now after installing the same Ubuntu 22.04 on a new laptop I see the same problem.
Interesting that in command line it says that it can detect OS version $ kazam -v WARNING Kazam - Failed to correctly detect operating system. kazam 1.4.5 'NCC-80102' $ cat /etc/*release* DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=24.04 DISTRIB_CODENAME=noble DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 24.04.0 2024.07.12 LTS (Cubic 2024-07-12 14:40)" PRETTY_NAME="Ubuntu 24.04.0 2024.07.12 LTS (Cubic 2024-07-12 14:40)" NAME="Ubuntu" VERSION_ID="24.04" VERSION="24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat)" VERSION_CODENAME=noble ID=ubuntu ID_LIKE=debian HOME_URL="https://www.ubuntu.com/" SUPPORT_URL="https://help.ubuntu.com/" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/" PRIVACY_POLICY_URL="https://www.ubuntu.com/legal/terms-and-policies/privacy-policy" UBUNTU_CODENAME=noble LOGO=ubuntu-logo -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2033948 Title: No reaction when trying to stop recording via top menu bar icon To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kazam/+bug/2033948/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
