Public bug reported:

The command "efibootmgr -o" does not work. It only brings me back to the
efibootmgr menu. It is supposed to show the boot order ready for manipulating.
Description: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
 apt-cache policy efibootmgr
efibootmgr:
  Installed: 18-1build2
  Candidate: 18-1build2
  Version table:
 *** 18-1build2 500
        500 https://mirror.it.ubc.ca/ubuntu noble/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Expected efibootmgr to show the boot order ready for editing.
What happened instead; it produced the efibootmgr menu.
