Public bug reported:

After upgrading from 24.04 to 24.10, the boot stuck in a black screen loop,
just before the login screen.
I can move the mouse on the black screen and there is blinking cursor at the
top (not writable), but the page is refreshing every few seconds.

Kernel 6.11.0-12-generic
When Ubuntu is loading, there is an error message :

ee1004 3-0050: probe with driver ee1004 failed with error -5

After changing lightdm to gdm3 and reboot, I'm getting a simple login
screen and can login normally.

Most things are working ok but look less graphical, and it looks like
there is some memory problems when trying to use heavier programs.

Changing back to lightdm is giving the error again and then the black
screen
