There's a slight problem when the fixed kernel was only pushed to jammy- updates and not jammy-security as AFAIK unattended-upgrades will only pick up things from the security repo so if the broken kernel was already installed on a system it won't self heal from it until a new kernel is pushed there. This also means likely any system that has unattended-upgrades enabled has picked up this kernel at this point.
Not necessary a major problem but the "ticking time bomb" issue will persists unless the sysadmin is actively aware of this issue and runs the upgrade manually or is very up-to-date with updates in general and has avoided this completely. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091990 Title: ovs/linuxbridge jobs running on ubuntu jammy broken with latest kernel 5.15.0-127.137 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2091990/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
