Public bug reported: Hi,
the package gscan2pdf in Linux Mint 22 comes from the Ubuntu noble universe repository (2.13.2-1), that's why I'm reporting the bug here, even though I'm a Linux Mint user. It does not start, gives the message Error: cannot close /etc/upstream-release (plus a lot of deprecation warnings about 'when' and 'given') Apparently, the gscan2pdf folks have fixed the problem in their recent versions (according to https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=425635 ). Could someone here please update the package in Ubuntu, so that it works again for everyone? (I cannot tell whether it's not working on Ubuntu, either, but as there exists a bugfix version, I think it makes sense either way) Thank you! ** Affects: gscan2pdf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2092628 Title: gscan2pdf not starting on noble-based Linux Mint 22 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gscan2pdf/+bug/2092628/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
