It looks like you are using a 3rd party version of rtl8812au rather than
Ubuntu's rtl8812au-dkms package. If so, please mark this "Invalid" since the
problem is not with an Ubuntu package.
Actually, if this is your adapter -
NetGear, Inc. A6150 Dual Band AC1200 Wireless Adapter [Realtek RTL8812BU]
.. then rtl8812au was the wrong driver to install. The rtw_8822bu module is
already built in to the kernel for this device.
