Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I am now running the Hardy Alpha-2 LiveCD 64 bits, and I just installed on hard
disk with no problem.
Net was configured with pppoeconf before launching install.
Honestly, I did wrote CD image on a DVD with brasero, and it did think that
checksum of the file image did not correspond to burned image.
Well, it is uncommon for me to have corresponding checksum.
In fact there is some errors in syslog about trying to read past end of device.

But looking inside /var/log/installer/debug I see that I have:
Ubiquity 1.7.2
