This is a weird one. In both cases (picom-conf, sddm-conf), upstream had a reorganization to follow Qtilities rules. So the desktop file is now in a different location and now uses variables for the Categories, Exec, and Icon keys.
That's not really weird. What's weird is that's not the reason (as far as I can tell) for the difference. What is true is that before *and* after, the Name key is not specified, nor the GenericName. The first is the key that actually displays in the menu, while the GenericName is used by lxqt-panel to populate the little popup on mouseover. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2093070 Title: lubuntu plucky: some menu items have no textual description To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-default-settings/+bug/2093070/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
