This is a weird one. In both cases (picom-conf, sddm-conf), upstream had
a reorganization to follow Qtilities rules. So the desktop file is now
in a different location and now uses variables for the Categories, Exec,
and Icon keys.

That's not really weird. What's weird is that's not the reason (as far
as I can tell) for the difference. What is true is that before *and* after,
the Name key is not specified, nor the GenericName. The first is the key
that actually displays in the menu, while the GenericName is used by
lxqt-panel to populate the little popup on mouseover.
