After main screen goes into "sluggish/IRQ spam" mode, I can close the lid and work normally... until system goes to sleep. Unlock screen doesn't go back on the HDMI screen. Opening lid does nothing.
Fiddling with Ctrl+Alt+Fx let me move to the console with a HUGE lag, where I can log in and `sudo reboot`.
