Workaround: 1. Open a terminal. 2. Input ’ sudo nano /etc/default/grub ’ 3. Add the following line ’ snd-hda-intel.snoop=0 ’ after the splash in ’ GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=“quiet splash” ’ 4. Save the changes 5. Input ‘sudo update-grub’ into the terminal 6. Reboot
