Public bug reported:

I am using an ASUS N750 laptop and since ubuntu 18.04 LTS (which worked
properly), I have had to use an external USB WiFi adapter because the internal
ar9462 does not connect properly. I have tried 22.04 and 24.04 and the problem
happens with both versions of the os.
This laptop also works properly when using windows 10 but I use Ubuntu on all
my machines and would like to have them all at the same os version.

lsb_release -rd:

Description: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
Release: 24.04

This is from lshw -C network:

  *-network
       description: Wireless interface

I expect to be able to browse the internet seamlessly. Instead I get "we
are having trouble .... blah blah blah" and I either have to wait a
while or disconnect/reconnect.

I have no problems at all using a USB wireless adapter.

Any help would be appreciated :-)
