Public bug reported:
In Ubuntu 24.10, if you have the removable drives option present to be
shown in the dock, navigating to that folder will break the indicator
that a Files window is open. This includes both the little dot that
indicates the number of windows, as well as when Files is the active
selected window.
Disabling the setting to show removable drives in the dock does stop
this from happening.
Expected behaviour is that the indicator for open and/or active windows
for an app like Files would remain consistent and not jump to a
'mountpoint' indicator on the dock which is essentially a shortcut, not
an app.
