Continuing from LP: #2061687 (@nteodosio considered backporting !2145 but that does not work for him, but it works in my case)
Here I found the following for 1.0.5-1ubuntu2 after enabling wireplumber debug log: Jan 21 13:23:02 ubuntu wireplumber[2249]: /dev/video0 accessible:0 Jan 21 13:23:02 ubuntu wireplumber[2249]: /dev/video1 accessible:0 Jan 21 13:23:02 ubuntu wireplumber[2249]: /dev/video2 accessible:0 Jan 21 13:23:02 ubuntu wireplumber[2249]: /dev/video3 accessible:0 and there's no change after starting inotify. I think the patch fixes permission issue but for @nteodosio there are other issues regarding Snapshot, or the camera config.
