I have been using this workaround sucessfully for some months on Ubuntu 22.04. But for some reason the most recent installation done from scratch no longer works.
Current packages are: * podman 3.4.4+ds1-1ubuntu1.22.04.3 * containernetworking-plugins 0.9.1+ds1-1ubuntu0.1 * golang-github-containernetworking-plugin-dnsname 1.3.1+ds1-2ubuntu0.22.04.1 Previous packages were: * podman 3.4.4+ds1-1ubuntu1.22.04.2 * containernetworking-plugins 0.9.1+ds1-1 * golang-github-containernetworking-plugin-dnsname 1.3.1+ds1-2 What I noticed is that these files no longer appear: /run/user/1006/rootless-cni/run/user/1006/containers/cni/dnsname/vtl-playground_default/dnsmasq.conf /run/user/1006/rootless-cni/run/user/1006/containers/cni/dnsname/vtl-manager_default/dnsmasq.conf and therefore dnsmasq does not start anymore. The result is the DNS resolution fails for the private container network. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2024394 Title: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS libpod (package podman 3.4.4+ds1-1ubuntu1.22.04.1): broken network functionality for CNI plugins To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libpod/+bug/2024394/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
