This broke gnucash for me after upgrading from Kubuntu 24.04.1 to Kubuntu
24.10. As soon as it opened the datafile it crashed with:
Thread 1 "gnucash" received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x00007ffff66876e4 in pango_coverage_get () from
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpango-1.0.so.0
Editing /etc/fonts/conf.avail/56-kubuntu-noto.conf so line 184 was commented:
<!-- <edit name="file" mode="delete" /> -->
Worked around this problem for me.
